Happy Monday everyone!
I’ve had such a lovely weekend at home and am now looking forward to the last week of uni before the Easter break- a glorious month off in which I have two holidays but a tonne of revision for finals, so swings and roundabouts!
While I was at home, my mum bought me two hair products; Argan Oil shampoo and also an Argan Oil hydrating & conditioning hair mask. I absolutely love argan oil, the smell of it is amazing and it just makes my hair so silky and shiny which is great because I have dark hair which can look so dull sometimes.
I’m still working my way through a shampoo set at the moment but took the time to try these out so I could write my review on them… and now I’m counting down the days until I can actually use them regularly because they’re so good!
The shampoo came with an extra 100ml free, and is usually come in small 150ml bottles for around £3. As I didn’t buy them myself I’m not sure where they can be sourced, but I’m guessing major drugstores would sell them or if not I know they have deals on multipacks on Amazon which are quite inexpensive. It’s definitely worth having a look, because this is honestly one of the nicest shampoos I’ve used in a long time. It’s very light, has a beautiful scent that lingers on the hair for ages, and even using a tiny bit can go a long way.
I also got the Argan Oil hydrating hair mask which is an intensive conditioning treatment for the hair. My hair can get quite dry, especially at the ends, but I don’t like to over-condition it otherwise it feels very heavy after washing and doesn’t sit nicely. I’ve been after a good hair mask for quite a while, and have finally found one I can agree with. You towel dry the hair after shampooing, then apply the mask from root to tip and leave in for around 10 minutes before rinsing out. It really does work wonders on the hair, and is a great substitute for a conditioner – as I don’t have the conditioner version of this set, I don’t think I’d even need to buy it with this mask. You can get this product for around £3.50-£4.00 for a tub of 220ml which I don’t think is bad considering the one at my hairdressers retailed at £20 and it contained the same key ingredients!
I am really grateful that my mum bought me these products as it’s saved me splashing out on more expensive versions on the market, and they’ve really made my hair sleek and shiny after just one application!
My score: 9/10. The only downside is that I feel these will run out quite quickly given that the bottles aren’t that big compared to my current shampoo, but for the money I don’t think I’ll have a problem replacing them!
Have a beautiful Monday!
