March Favourites

Hola Todos!

I know I say this every month, but I can’t believe it’s already the end of March!

So much has happened since last month and we’re only in March, I can’t wait to see what I will have achieved by the end of the year!

My favourites this month have been mainly beauty based because I’ve been experimenting with products and brands lately.

First of all a skincare product. I’ve been quite stressed lately so I’ve been breaking out spots more than usual, meaning that I had to find a really good skincare product that would help to control this. The Witch blemish stick has saved my life; you rub it on when you have an emerging blemish and it breaks down the oils that cause spots etc. This stuff is pretty much a miracle on a stick, it works overnight to clear up your skin, I don’t know what I would have done without it lately! This was only £2 from Superdrug and I know it’ll last for ages, so I am happy to give this product a solid 9/10.

On the same note comes my new daily facial scrub by Clean & Clear. I love their products because they always make my skin feel fresh and revitalised when I’ve used them. This “morning energy” scrub has exfoliating beads and a beautiful citrus scent because of the vitamin C and ginseng in it. I use this almost daily and afterwards my skin feels gorgeous. For the price of £3.99 it is definitely worth it, and I give this 8/10!

Next is my Garnier tanning moisturising lotion. I use this every year during the build-up to summer and it never disappoints. I got this from Wilko’s for just £2 during a promotion, and have been really pleased with the results. I use it every other night after showering and have already had compliments from my family that I look really tanned: result! The lotion has a lovely apricot scent on application and is very easy to apply. I haven’t really had any streaking with this and the colour isn’t orangey like some self tanning products are. My favourite thing about this is that it’s a slowly building tan so it looks a lot more natural to other people. I give this product a 7/10 because although I love it, it can stain clothes, takes quite a while to dry and the smell lingers on fabrics ie my bed which is quite irritating.

Away from beauty is my new baking book. I am obsessed with cooking and baking, especially cupcakes, and I am also obsessed with Lola’s (see my previous post about their amazing cakes!). I think they’re quite expensive, but then I found that they’d released a book on Amazon and had to have it so I can make their amazing creations for myself!  This was £6 from Amazon and contains so many delicious recipes for cupcakes, cakes and bars. I honestly cannot wait to try some of these out! The photos are so beautiful, I adore the cover and the fact that the edges of the pages are bright pink, it makes the whole thing so cute! I give this a 9/10 and will be sure to try a couple of these recipes soon and show them to you!

I know I didn’t really write about many favourites but this month has been crazy so I haven’t actually had that much time to try lots of things! I’m packing for skiing tomorrow so I’ll be scheduling some posts, and will also upload some skiing photos at some point next week! – TERM IS FINALLY OVER WOOOO EASTER HOLIDAYS!

Have a beautiful weekend!

Daisy x
