Recently I was approached by an old school friend who is currently working in Spain for a flower delivery company, to see if I wanted to collab with them. Exciting!!
As you might have guessed from previous posts, I love all things flower, nature and all that jazz, so this was a really exciting prospect for me. My boyfriend’s cousin has recently had her first baby and I was looking to order some flowers for her, so this all came at such a convenient time really as I managed to find a really gorgeous bouquet on the website – FloraQueen.
Flora Queen are an international flower delivery service that lets you send flowers and gifts to over 90 countries all over the world. Bouquets can be searched based on occasion such as birthdays and anniversaries, and all of them are such good prices! You can choose between 3 sizes- classic, deluxe or premium. I chose the deluxe size to get the most out of my bouquet, and it honestly looks stunning.
Flora Queen get the order sent to your local flower delivery service, who make up the bunch and have them sent to you- so technically, I have worked with both Flora Queen and my local florist Denningtons. I had arranged for this bouquet to get delivered on the 2nd of June, completely forgetting that I would be at work 7am-3pm. The delivery guy however was absolutely amazing! He called me when he realised I wasn’t in, tried to see if he could deliver them to my work in the West End but didn’t have time, and ended up building a little shelter for them to hide in outside my flat until I got home. What an absolutely amazing and sweet man, I was so taken aback with all the care that went into it!
My bouquet is the Pure Emotion, and is made up of gerberas (which I love as they’re massive daisies), white lilies which haven’t opened yet but look amazing on the website, white and green chrysanthemums and little sprigs of yellow and green fillers. There is perhaps a little too much green in this bouquet in terms of the big green leaves, but the size of the flowers is honestly stunning, they’re going to look so beautiful in a big vase on the windowsill in my cousin-in-law’s house when they’ve all opened!
I would definitely choose this company when ordering flowers, especially as I go on my Year Abroad in September until June and am missing quite a few birthdays and occasions. There is a substantial charge when sending flowers to the UK from this site, however I have had really bad experiences with ordering flowers from within this country so I think the extra cost is completely justified- I can’t stop looking at them! Sorry Ash, I think you might have to make do with a card instead, I want to steal these!!
I have really enjoyed collaborating with Flora Queen, it’s my first official collaboration and such a different idea rather than just beauty related or something. I would definitely love to do more collabs in the near future, they’re really fun and reviews are one of my favourite types of blog posts to do. My second YouTube video goes live tomorrow evening at 6pm, so watch out for that- it’s already loads better than last week’s, despite being slightly longer but I’ve just done more stuff this week I guess.
Have a beautiful weekend!
