To get back into the swing of frequent blog post writing, I thought that I’d share with you what I got up to over the weekend as I had a really fun one!
GIN TASTING WITH FEVER-TREE
I went to a gin tasting at the King’s Head in Mayfair with my housemate Naomi. Hosted by Fever-Tree, a tonic company that are promoting their new mixers, this was such a good way to try some cool drinks like rhubarb gin and ginger ale- my new favourite!! This is part of the London Gin Festival which have events around the city until August, as well as a 2 day bash at Tobacco Docks: https://www.ginfestival.com/events/gin-festival-london-summer-2016
On Saturday I went back down to my hometown to go to Village Green; a local folk music and arts festival spread across the entire park with various stages and workshops for children and adults alike! I’ve never been before and this year finally managed to get time off of work to go with my boyfriend, his cousin, her boyfriend and their 2 month old baby Sawyer who is the most adorable little thing in the world!!
I’m also working with an app called Hype which promotes cool things to do around London as well as New York and is becoming available in loads of cool cities around the world soon! I posted a ‘best dressed’ post about the festival even though it’s not really in London (shh!) – you can follow my profile by downloading the app and searching for my username “daisyashcroft”.
I had a really nice weekend, also stopping by Brick Lane to grab a cheeky salt-beef bagel from Beigel Bake, a traditional Jewish deli that sells the most amaaaaaaazing food in London!
I’m so busy doing loads of other social media things plus working all hours under the sun that even though I might be going out and seeing cool things around London still, I forget to blog about them or share little photo posts like this so I want to get back into that and I hope you’ve enjoyed having a little peek into my weekend.
