Sephora Facial Treatments | Blogtober

A couple of weeks ago I did a post on my little Sephora/Corte Ingles haul, and today I am back to show you what I thought of the Sephora face products. Last week I had a particularly stressful day at university and needed to unwind, so I had a shower, moisturised my entire body and sat down with Bake Off, some wine, and these face products I had bought.

After cleansing with some micellar water, I first tried the algae face mask which was 3,95EUR. Let me first of all tell you that this smells absolutely amazing, it’s just such a fresh scent! The product itself looks a little daunting if you’ve never done a full-face mask, as I hadn’t, and the prospect of covering my face in this literal mask made my claustrophobia flare up a little. I’ll also say that if you’ve got a little pea head like me, this mask is actually quite big and will droop into your hair and down your chin quite a lot so just be careful with it. I really loved the feeling of the mask when I’d smoothed it over though and was quite content to lie on my bed for 20 minutes while it worked its purifying and detoxicating magic on my anxiety ridden face!

Next I tried out the charcoal nose strip (1,50EUR) and the shea lip mask (2,50EUR)at the same time as I didn’t want to waste half an hour trying them separately. The nose strip is applied to damp skin then smoothed over with a damp cloth to really contour it to the shape of your nose. It took a lot of effort to peel it off and I had some excess product left on my skin which I had to remove with micellar water and some cotton pads, but I really do feel a difference in my pores on the nose as they’re not as prominent anymore!
The lip mask was perhaps the most fun product of all as it’s extremely slimy and I actually applied mine upside down so it ended up going halfway down my chin! I really liked the softness of it and kept playing with it while it was on, which I’m sure isn’t what you’re meant to do but oh well! I’m like a child playing in mud… As I wear a lot of liquid lipstick I was really grateful for the little treatment on my lips and will be making frequent use of this product in the future as my lips felt so soothed and soft afterwards!

Overall, I am in love with these products. I love the range of different scents and variety of the products themselves- I have since seen some eye creams that you apply before bed which I am curious to try out, although I’d probably just wipe them off straight away as I often sleep on my face somehow…
My favourite product was the lip mask due to how fun it was, the gorgeously soft texture of my lips afterwards and the amazing smell- shea is such a beautiful, softly scented smell that I’m sure no one on this earth could dislike!

Sephora: you have done me proud, and I will be back soon to try out more of these amazing products!

Lots of Love,
Daisy xxx
