I’ve really been spoilt for choice this month in terms of products to choose for my favourites; I’ve been experimenting with more makeup, different brands, have tried new products and introduced changes to my beauty and lifestyle regime. I managed to narrow it down to 5 products from homeware to beauty that I’ve been loving this month, so I hope you enjoy!
First for homeware, I am redecorating my bedroom and have settled on a grey, copper and mustard yellow colour scheme. This might sound a bit strange but trust me they all go together really well and when it’s done I’ll be sure to do a post for some interior design inspo! I’ve been on the lookout for copper details and found these adorable owl fairy lights from ASDA, only £10. These are battery operated and look really lovely among candles and picture frames above my bed, although I have to be honest they are very weak in terms of how much light they actually give off because the copper outsides are so thick so they’re more just for decoration (or to spice up your Insta pics, like I’ll be doing!)
Next is this beautiful leather notebook from Zara Home which I was gifted by my friend in Spain as a very early birthday present. Although I don’t think I’ll actually use it as a notebook, it makes a lovely display piece and the gold embossed coral design on the front will match with my bedroom colour scheme plus I love the handmade feel of the whole book.
I’ve already written a post about these candles that you can view here, but I cannot get enough of them to be honest! These 100% soy candles are vegan, ethically sourced and all hand made by the loveliest little lady in Hackney who actually went to my high school and lived near me in my hometown- what a small world!! The Christmas range for these candles are coming out in just a few days on the 1st of November so visit the website for more details about scents and home delivery. You won’t be disappointed I promise you!
As for beauty, my favourite product this month has been the NYX Sculpt & Highlight brow pencil. It’s super easy to use, really cheap for how good the product is, and has been a lifesaver when I haven’t wanted to do a full face of makeup but still want to look slightly alive. This duo pencil is only £8 and can be purchased from Selfridges or Boots.
The last item that I’m in love with is the L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Detox Mask with 3 types of clay plus charcoal. I have used this a couple of times and just love how refreshed my skin feels afterwards! This mask was just £5 from Boots and you get roughly 10 applications from it depending on how much product you use each time you apply. I would love to try the other masks in the range as each of them do different things for your skin- this one “detoxifies and clarifies”.
So there you have it, my 5 October favourites. Or is it November favourites now? I really don’t know how these things work- let’s just say these are the 5 things that I’ve been crushing on the most this month and will probably continue to love for November as well! Tomorrow is the penultimate day of Blogtober; I hope you’ve all loved the content that I put out there, I have had so much fun creating these posts and can’t wait to come back to daily blogging very soon!
Lots of Love,
