A Little Lush Haul…

If there’s one combination that I cannot resist, it’s Lush and Christmas! I always go mad for the autumn and winter special edition products from Lush and this year has definitely been no exception. While I was in Swansea for my birthday, I took the opportunity to go on a little trip to the town centre and pick up a few bits from the store.

I spent ages sniffing the bubble bars, sampling products in the huge bubbly sinks, getting glitter all over my hands and exasperating my boyfriend with my indecisiveness! In the end, I chose 5 products that I haven’t tried before and can’t wait to use them all!

The Magic of Christmas Bubble Wand – £5.95

I’ve always loved bubble wands, especially the Snow Fairy one; I mean, who doesn’t?? However this year I fancied going for The Magic of Christmas, which is much more festive as it contains cinnamon and clove. Despite it being quite an expensive product (which my boyfriend generously paid for), you can get a lot of uses out of the wand, releasing almond bubbles into the water after a stressful day- doesn’t that sound perfect!

Mistletoe Bath Bomb – £4.25

I absolutely cannot wait to use this bath bomb because of the spectacular colours that are in it; beautiful baby pink and teal blue. Mistletoe smells dizzyingly sweet and contains jasmine which I find so relaxing!

Peeping Santa Bubble Bar – £3.95

I always look for this little guy because he is just absolutely adorable!! Peeping Santa is the sweetest little bubble bar, which releases amazing scents such as chocolate, bergamot and even shea butter to make your skin soft as… well, butter! Crumble under warm running water for heavenly, fruit bubbles and the most festive bath of your life when combined with any of the bath bombs!

Snowie Bubble Bar – £4.25

How cool is this David Bowie inspired bubble bar that Lush have released this year! I was never the biggest Bowie fan but even so, this bar contains some of my favourite scents; rose oil, grapefruit, neroli oil which are all winners in my opinion. Just with any other bubble bar, crumble under warm water to release all of the amazing scents, guaranteed to make even the biggest Scrooge get into the festive spirit!

Bubbly Shower Gel – £4.95 (100ml)

I always see people rave about the Snow Fairy shower gel, buying it in great quantities to last them throughout the year when Lush have finished stocking it for the festive period. Personally I find it way too sickly and sweet for me. however this year I found a new shower gel for Christmas called ‘Bubbly’, which is more citrus flavoured. Perfect! I cannot tell you how amazing this shower gel smells; it’s got lime, sweet orange, grape juice… it’s the most refreshing thing! I can’t wait to use this on those cold winter mornings where the last thing you want to do is get out of bed; using this in the shower will really wake me up and get me ready for the day!

I’m really happy with all of the things I got and hate that we don’t have a Lush in my town centre anymore… although for the sake of my bank balance I would say that’s actually a good thing!!

Lots of Love,
Daisy xxx

I have big love for Lush. I’m not big on having baths so that kind of stuff a sort of lost on me, but I love their face masks, toners and soaps. I am interested in the shower gel though. “Bubbly” sounds great, I love a good citrus smell (also not a big fan of anything to sweet) so maybe I should give that one a go. To be honest, I’ll take any advice to pop by Lush haha. Nice blog and great blog.

Would you by any chance be interested in sharing some of your content on Creators? We’re currently branching out and I for one would love to see more beauty/fashion content on the platform. I saw your blog and couldn’t help but get in touch. Feel free to shoot me an e-mail so I can expand on that. My contact details are on my blog. Hope to hear from you.
