A Little Life Update

I like doing little posts to let everyone know what I’m up to; I feel like it connects me to my readers but also it’s quite cathartic getting everything out in the open.

So since my last update, I’ve found myself not one but two jobs! I work twice a week 10:30-1:30 at this adorable little coffee shop called Tesoro near where I live. I’m going to be training as a barista and helping out with the front of house roles there and will do a little post about the shop soon so that you can see what it’s like; it’s just as quirky and kitsch as its owner! I also have a full time job at a restaurant called Zabranos at the top of my road where I will be head waitress and also work in the bar. I’ve been here a few times with Tom before and am really pleased to be joining the team; plus they aren’t open on Mondays so that’s a guaranteed day off to focus on my blogging.

I feel so much more motivated and sorted than in my last update. I am confident that I have made the right decision for me and can focus on travelling and saving money to move back to London next year.

In terms of blogging, I feel like I am coming on in leaps and bounds as of late. I’m posting more frequently (4-5 times per week), gaining followers on WordPress, Bloglovin’ and Twitter and really enjoying what I’m doing. I want to make a real go of this and feel like I am putting all my effort into social media which will reap benefits come the new year- hopefully anyway!

So that’s where I’m at right now. I’ve got a good schedule going and am getting into a rhythm. I’m cutting down on alcohol, meat and dairy before Christmas and doing more exercise so that I can try and lose a little bit of weight but not stressing out about it as I’ve found that gives me such a negative body image in my head. I’m riding the rest of the year out and taking every day as it comes, trying to find the positives in every situation as opposed to focusing on the negatives which will hopefully make me happier overall. Let’s do this!

Lots of Love,
Daisy xxx
