December Favourites | Blogmas

As promised, I’ve managed to get my act together and write another favourites post for this month. I’ve found it so hard to narrow my selection down to just a few things as I’ve been testing loads of products for Christmas but I think I’ve got some really cute things in this one so I hope you enjoy!

For my birthday I asked for some Charbonnel et Walker pink champagne truffles as these are my ultimate indulgence and I only ask for them on special occasions as they’re quite costly. There are so many different flavours of these delectable truffles such as milk sea salt caramel and a new Christmas range that contain port and cranberry. You can buy them from John Lewis & Waitrose- find out more on the website.

Next is my cornflower blue Katie Loxton perfect pouch which I received from my grandparents for my birthday. It is the perfect size for storing your essentials inside your handbag and comes embossed with a cute message on the front; mine is the Blah Blah Blah bag. You can get various colours and messages, all for the affordable price of just £15.99. They make lovely Christmas or birthday presents and I can’t wait to see more of the range. Visit the website for more information.

As I mentioned in my post from the end of November, I recently purchased two new OhRos London candles in Christmas scents; Figgy Pudding and By The Fire. I love these candles as they’re environmentally friendly, vegan, cruelty free and locally sourced. You can definitely feel good about yourself when you buy these as you’re contributing to a handcrafted business and getting an amazing product from the money you’re spending- which in my opinion is extremely good value at just £12 per candle or two for £20. You can check out my post here for more information or visit the OhRos London website.

Of course I couldn’t not include a Lush product as their Christmas range is so amazing this year. Instead of Snow Fairy, I decided to go against the trend and opt for Bubbly which is a more citrus-scented shower gel. It is meant to be a sort of bucks fizz inspired scent which refreshes and invigorates you on cold and dark winter mornings. Although this shower gel is pricier than most others on the market especially for the size, at £4.95 for just 100g, it honestly smells incredible and is cruelty free like the rest of the Lush range which makes all the difference. Check out my Lush haul blog post for the rest of the things I bought this year.

You’ve probably seen this on my Instagram and in previous blog posts, but I recently bought a light box- finally! I was browsing New Look for some black tops to wear for my new job and found myself looking at the homeware range, which is so good right now! Having seen light boxes on almost every blogger’s social media pages, I decided to get one myself as I think they’re so good at filling in gaps in flat lays and feature photos. Mine was £12.99 from New Look although I can’t find it on their website anymore, however Next sell them as well for around the same price; click here for more information. The light box needs 6 AA batteries which is pretty excessive and come with around 60 characters to make your customised message. I think they’re so cool and have definitely been overusing mine this month for Blogmas posts!

I have been loving so many products this month that it was really hard to narrow it down to just these ones! I also wanted to note that the copper snowflake fairy lights featured in most of the photos are from Primark, just £2.50 and are also something that I have definitely been overusing this month as they’re just so darn cute!

Lots of Love,
Daisy xxx
