February Favourites

Thankfully this month I’ve been enjoying more products than in February, so it was a lot easier to write this favourites post than the last one!

I’ve been using my Simple skincare products every single day, since I bought them in October actually, and am still so in love with them! I haven’t used face products much in the past as my skin gets irritated very easily, but the fact that Simple don’t use any added chemicals means I never get break outs or rashes and can incorporate these products in my daily skincare routine! I especially love the protecting light moisturiser, it leaves my skin feeling so fresh and clean! Superdrug are currently having a sale on a variety of brands including Simple until Tuesday; you can check the products out here and grab yourself a bargain!

In terms of beauty, I’m still using my Too Faced Sweetheart Blush in “Something About Berry” which adds the perfect rosy tone to my cheeks and makes me look a little more alive in the mornings! I’ve also almost used up my Si by Giorgio Armani perfume, although it’s lasted for almost 2 years which isn’t bad going! I love this scent, which has hints of bergamot, amber and musky undertones. It’s not too sweet and develops on the skin, giving you the perfect hint of sophistication!

For Valentine’s Day I received the Peggy Porschen Love Heart cookie box- 12 heart shaped cookies with a rose scented sugar paste in the prettiest shades of blush. They’re almost too pretty to eat- almost! Thankfully I got 2 boxes meaning I didn’t have to wait around until I’d written all of my blog posts/taken photos for Instagram to try them!

Last but definitely by no means least is “Capture Your Style” by Aimee Song. This book is the Instagram bible for anyone who wants to up their feed and build the perfect platform. There’s tips on photo composition, lighting, packing the most photogenic wardrobe for a trip… it’s honestly a gold mine! I have read this book cover to cover 3 times and still go to it for reference to make sure I’m staying on the right track with my Instagram feed. 100% recommend to anyone who is trying to make something of their Instagram- or actually, anyone who just likes looking at gorgeous photos!!

So there we have it! I’ve definitely been so much more interested by products this month, and am hopeful that my March favourites will continue in the same way. I’ve already discovered a couple of new brands and can’t wait to share them with you.

Until then!
